Vauxhall Mokka OBD2 socket location *

Most cars manufactured over the last 20 years have a computer inside them used to diagnose problems. Connecting to them is easy. You will need an odb2 connector. These are small devices (4.5cm by 2..5cm approx). What you will also need is software to connect to the unit. The connection can be made via Bluetooth, wifi , USB and a serial port. Some free apps exist for mobile and PC to help. Once you have to items you will need to find the odb2 socket.
The OBD2 is just a socket which gives you access to the car's onboard diagnostic computer.  It is like an oscilloscope into the car's mechanics. You then need to plug in the correct device to investigate.
