DIY Clock DS1302-Rotating-LED-Electronic-Digital-Clock-Kit This is an electronic clock. This is a good exercise to built. You will need soldering iron and some solder. Bear in mind you will be soldering very tiny components so you will need a small tipped soldering iron. I got the parts from eBay.
Shame this does have a battery to keep the clock alive.
